  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 8 inch round cake pan with nonstick spray, line with parchment paper, and spray again. Arrange 1½ cups of berries on the bottom of the pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, milk and oil. Add to the dry mixture and stir until combined. Spread the batter evenly over the berries in the pan.
  3. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then run a knife along the edge to loosen; invert onto a plate. Peel off the parchment.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the glaze ingredients. Brush the glaze evenly over the top of the warm cake.
  5. Arrange berries and mint or basil on top.
