Braised Bok Choy

Bahan-bahan

  • 1 cup fat free chicken broth
  • 1½ tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 medium garlic clove, (minced)
  • ¾ pound (6 to 8 cups) bok choy, (trimmed and chopped (leaves only))
  • ½ teaspoon dark sesame oil
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Langkah-langkah

  1. In a large, deep skillet, bring broth, butter and garlic to a simmer. Add the bok choy and simmer (covered) until tender, about 5 minutes. Use tongs to transfer the bok choy to a serving dish and cover to keep warm.
  2. Boil the broth mixture until reduced to ¼ cup, then stir in the sesame oil and red pepper flakes. Pour the mixture over the bok choy and serve immediately.
