Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper.
2. Place the flour and baking soda in a bowl and whisk by hand for 30 seconds.
3. Cream the butter with a hand mixer on medium. Add brown sugar and powdered sugar and continue mixing until fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla.
4. Add the flour mixture a little bit at a time until incorporated. Fold in chocolate chips.
5. Divide the dough into 18 cookies and place 2" apart on the prepared pan.
6. Bake until lightly browned on the edges, 10-13 minutes. Cool 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.
