Ingredients: 1 pound container of cottage cheese (any fat content you like); 1 4 -oz can diced green chiles (or 7 ounce can, slightly drained); 1 large tomato (chopped); 1/4 to 1/2 cup salsa; 1 -2 avocados (chopped); 1 teaspoon salt (or more to taste); 1/2 teaspoon chili powder; 1 dash cayenne pepper; 1/4 to 1/2 cup cilantro (chopped); sliced or chopped jalapenos; green onions (chopped); fresh lime juice; 1 to 2 9-oz. package Fritos ( (the scoop kind))

This Snowy Chili Dip is such an easy appetizer! Stir together some cottage cheese, salsa, avocado, green chilies, and scoop it up with some Fritos.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, green chilies, chopped tomato, salsa, avocado, salt, chili powder, and a dash of cayenne pepper. (You can drain the green chilies all the way if you want. I usually just open the can and use the lid to strain out the liquid right at the top.)
Stir in the cilantro, jalapenos, green onions, and a few squeezes of fresh lime juice. These are all optional ingredients.
Serve in a bowl with Frito scoops for dipping!
Refrigerate leftovers.
