Garlic Lime Shrimp

Bahan-bahan

  • ¼ cup (½ stick) butter
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon granulated white sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon grated lime zest
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 10 large uncooked shrimp, (peeled and de-veined)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • salt and pepper, (to taste)

Langkah-langkah

  1. Melt the butter in heavy medium skillet over medium heat. Add in the next 6 ingredients (through cayenne pepper). Sauté 30 seconds. Add the shrimp and sauté until opaque in the center, turning occasionally, about 3 minutes. Stir in the parsley. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  2. Serve the shrimp on its own or over hot cooked rice.
